Unused Sidebar Space

I am trying to create static pages with 2 or 3 sidebar widgets in 1 right sidebar. Is there any way to get rid of the unused space in the sidebar so that there isn’t a huge white space to the right of my page where there are no widgets? Is there any way to allow wordpress to detect the end of where the widgets are in my sidebar and then expand the rest of the content on the page to fill the empty sidebar space? Thanks to anyone who can help.

    Hi there,

I’m afraid there is not an easy way to achieve this. Websites work with columns, so when you add a right sidebar it places the sidebar in a column on the right side of the page that stretches to the end of the page, as soon as there are no more posts to show.

Alternatively, you can show your posts with no sidebar by selecting “no sidebar” in your theme options, and place your sidebar widgets in the footer of the page.

If you would like to find a theme closer to what you had in mind you can check out the theme repository here – https://wordpress.com/theme

You can learn more about your themes features on the Colinear info page – https://wordpress.com/theme/colinear

Please let me know if you have any other questions :)
