A marketing bar is displayed at the top for non logged in users. I want it hidden.
Inspect element in chrome showed me this code while I tried to inspect it:
<div id="marketingbar" class="marketing-bar noskim"><div class="marketing-bar-text">Create your website with WordPress.com</div><a class="marketing-bar-button" href="https://wordpress.com/start/en-gb?ref=marketing_bar">Get started</a><a class="marketing-bar-link" tabindex="-1" aria-label="Create your website at WordPress.com" href="https://wordpress.com/start/en-gb?ref=marketing_bar"></a></div>The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
We display the marketing bar on all free sites hosted on WordPress.com, yes.
You can remove that bar, along with any other advertising on your site, by upgrading to one of our paid plans.

These are the few free sites for your reference in which i dont find any such bars…
I shifted this site from blogspot because i loved wordpress functionalities… But now this marketing bar looks very odd to my site. I dont mind any bars in my site, but atleast not in my header part…https://soumyav.wordpress.com/
https://akanksharastogi.wordpress.com/
etc etc -
Ads on free sites are what allows them to be free:
https://wordpress.com/support/no-ads/.
As @kokkieh mentioned, you can get rid of the banner by upgrading to one of our paid plans. Here you can see an overview of all the features:
