Unusual traffic (hacked?)
-
Our blog, erisasunscreen.com, has been receiving unusual traffic today. Our “best view” stats have almost tripled. Also, when I posted the blog last week, followers did not receive an email. I am worried that the blog has been hacked. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hi there,
I looked into your account, and there doesn’t seem to be any suspicious activity. I do see the hike in views, and they all seem to be coming to this post:

I looked at your referrers are there seem to be quite a few coming from LinkedIn. Those were actual clicks to your site, so please rest assured it wasn’t your account being hacked.
As for the followers not receiving an email, do you know whether it was one particular follower, or all your followers?
Please have your followers check their subscription deliveries here if they are WordPress.com users:

Email followers can check their subscriptions here:
If the readers do not subscribe to receive instant post updates, they will not receive them right away or ever if they turned it off.
As a test I have followed your site. I will check if I get an email for the next post you publish.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
