Unusually High View Counts

  Hi there– I’m looking at my stats and the view count is unusually high considering the visitor count. Is this spam? Or a bot? How can I get rid of phoney views?

  Hi!

  While this is a pretty high views per visitor ratio (10 views for every visitor), I don’t think this is the result of a bot. The views are dispersed pretty well across your posts. I’m not entirely sure what is causing the uptick in views over the past few days, but I suspect it will level out soon!

  How can I get rid of phoney views?

  There isn’t a way to filter out or “not count” certain views on your stats page.
