Unusually High Views on Re-blogged Posts

  Generally speaking, the posts that I write and post receive between 50 and 200 views. This I am quite pleased with.
  I have re-blogged two posts written by others (one today), which have bothed topped 1,000 views in the first few hours!
  Is it just that these were excellent stories with great titles, or is there something that I’m unaware of when it comes to re-blogged posts stats.
