unwanted ads in an upgraded blog

  Good day,
  I have been checking your support page, but still can’t find a satisfactory answer, because in my upgrade blog from now and on some ads appear. Is that because you do this to pay the bills for the free features?
  I really don’t understand this, because in your support page you say that free hosted blogs are the ones that get ads sometimes.

  Hi Jessica, you purchased a domain mapping upgrade from us that replaces your wordpress.com address with the custom address jessiswecan.com. We run ads on WordPress.com sometimes so that we can continue improving the blogging platform and support all the other work that happens in the background so that your blog keeps running.

  If you want to remove ads from your WordPress.com site altogether, I recommend the No Ads upgrade.

  Hi Jenia,

  So, it is what I thought then. The upgrade I purchased was just for the domain of the blog. Then the hosting is still of WordPress. Am I right?

  Correct, the upgrade is for a custom domain name, and we still host your blog here on WordPress.com and take care of software, updates, and support for you.
