Unwanted advertising

  Why am I finding words in my posts linked to advertisments? I haven’t given permission for this – please can you tell me how I can stop this? Thank you, Meg

  I’m not seeing ads linked to from words on your site. My suspicion is that these are coming from your own computer. Sometimes these links/ads are caused by malware or a virus, but more often it is due to a browser extension or toolbar that you may have installed in your browser.

  You’re welcome! And yes, these extensions can be very sneaky, as you often don’t even realize what you’ve installed until this starts happening.
