Unwanted emails via my wordpress contact form

  I am frustrated beyond frustrated, I am a photographer and have a contact form on my website, most of my client enquiries come though the form but I’ve been receiving emails from a blogger promoting his latest posts. The emails appear to be coming from WordPress Contact with the email address (email visible only to moderators and staff). I can’t block the email address because then I won’t receive the photoshoot enquiries via my contact form either. I am not subscribed to this individuals blog, I have no idea who he is or why the heck he is sending me these emails. I have left comments on his blog posts asking him to remove me from his email list but he just ignores me and he sends one almost every flipping day! At the bottom of each of his emails there is the line that says the following “Tomer Rozenberg © 2024. Manage your email settings or unsubscribe.” The unsubscribe is not highlighted so not clickable, if I click on manage your email settings it takes me to my website but again I’m not subscribed so there is nothing to manage. When I check my contact form on my wordpress page there is no sign of his emails so I have no idea how he is managing to send me emails with the (email visible only to moderators and staff) email address. How the hell do I block this idiot?

  Hi there!

  Thanks for getting in touch. It seems they may have gotten your email address from your contact form page. I suggest editing that page to remove your email address from view.

  Since it sounds like a new post email, you can manage any subscriptions via your subscribers page: https://wordpress.com/read/subscriptions

  Or, if you can confirm, I can remove you on our end. There’s no way to block them from trying to resubscribe you, but once you’re removed, you would need to confirm the subscription if they try to add you again.
