Unwanted Gray background behind text

  I am using Oulipo and for some reason after 10 white posts the posts now start to have a gray background in the text box. I do not have the upgraded version, just basic. Also the pictures and captions are starting to crop.

  Your latest post has a grey bg because you published it as a sticky post. You can edit it and unsticky it.

  But if I don’t make it sticky then it won’t be the front page?

  Your other recent posts aren’t stickies but they are on the front page, aren’t they?
  You don’t mark a post as a sticky to make it show up on the front page, you mark it as as sticky if you want it to remain on top of more recent posts.
