Unwanted horizontal lines and toggle
-
Hi,
I have some unwanted content on a page with a Kale theme, http://olympiadragonboatfestival.com/wp/
This is a site built several years ago (pre-Gutenberg) that I haven’t had to update much during the pandemic, and it seems like something that happened maybe from an update?
1. Unwanted horizontal lines…I had four unwanted horizontal lines on all pages, and I found this post that helped me get rid of two of them with the div# https://wordpress.org/support/topic/remove-horizontal-lines-from-all-pages/
Unfortunately, there is one above the menu and one at the bottom that I can’t seem to get rid of because I don’t know enough css to know how to apply logic from this post to what I see in Inspector. Can you help?
2. There is also this “Toggle Navigation” visible, and I don’t know what it is or how it got there, but suspect it’s related to maybe Kale theme not recognizing that I am using a Max Mega Menu. I do not know how to fix it. I have another new site on the same theme using Max Mega Menu but have not seen this issue there.
Thanks so much for any help you can give.
Lisa

Hello Lisa,
This site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider. This is a bit different to a site hosted on WordPress.com. You can read about these differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
It’s possible that an update may have put the site off kilter.
You need to search for help from the theme developers to be on the safe side here.
Out of curiosity, have you used or tried the block editor? The reason why I ask is because, with the block editor, you may not need the the CSS or HTML.
Many thanks.
