Unwanted indents and pages not going in menu
-
Every page and post has the first three lines indented; which I don’t want. The indent also pushes any inserted photos over to the right. The theme is atmosphere twenty elven. I tried switching to atmosphere twenty ten but the indents were still there. I saw another forum saying the problem could be an invisible gravatar – but I can’t find one in the css code (it may be there and I am just not finding it). I also haven’t been able to find parts of the code referring to indenting (indent).
When I try to set up the menu I can write in a menu name but I can’t put anything into it because the pages are not appearing under the page section where I should be able to select them and put them into the menu. The pages aren’t published yet but I thought I would be able to set up the menu before putting the site online.
Thanks

Hi the blog is very much in draft at the moment so no link to see it yet. I decided it had to be a plugin since switching themes didn’t fix the indentation and the culprit was BackType Tweetcount. (which I am sure is good and handy but it wasn’t right for me).
I still have no idea why the pages don’t appear under the ‘Page’ heading when I am on the Menus page (maybe it is because they are not published yet). But I have done the menu by copying the URLs in under ‘Custom Links’.
So I appear to have worked out the solution. Writing out the issues must have made me think of the answers.
justjennifer: thanks for popping up and offering to help.
