Unwanted Likes

I’m getting ‘Likes’ from spammers — WordPress marketing blogs that are trying to sell something. They like a post and their gravatar appears, but I don’t want my loyal readers to be tempted to click on the gravatar and discover it’s just click bait. I would like to be able to remove unwanted ‘Likes’ without removing the ‘Like’ button.

What you describe is exactly what is.
A WordPress.com account has always been a Gravatar account.

I’m sorry but we cannot delete the individual likes others leave on our posts even those that are from obvious like button spammers. All we can do is what’s here.
