unwanted links

    All the sudden words are being highlighted in the text of my blog and links are being added. I don’t want these words highlighted as it detracts from the meaning, especially when the links lead to annoying advertisments. How is my blog being pirated? How can I take the links off and how I can I prevent this from happening? I’ve been blogging for years and have never had this happen before.

    Hi there,

    This type of overwriting is caused by some extension on your browser, or by malware. I suggest disabling any extensions that might be causing this, and running an anti-virus program. This isn’t being added by WordPress.com. I DON’T see these links.

    I would also recommend that you clear your cache and cookies:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

    Finally, you can check your site in Chrome to see if this is Firefox-related or something that’s coming from your computer.
