unwanted Links showing on footer
-
Hi, I have just changed themes from Gridiculous toBasis. On this theme, my site displays “Blog at WordPress” and “The Basis Theme” links at the bottom of every page. How do i get rid of this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The footer credit is required to be displayed according to our terms of service:

If that is the case, could you please explain why my previous theme, Gridiculous did not have these compulsory links. I can perhaps live with the wordpress blog link, but the additional one for the “The Basis Theme” is a deal breaker. I paid for this theme and am on a premium package. It is not acceptable therefore that I should also then have to promote these links on my blog and website.

If you do not want to abide by WordPress.com’s Terms of Service, you can migrate your site to a self-hosted, WordPress.org installation.

As we only support sites hosted here at WordPress.com, all issues with the new site – including the importing of the file – must be taken to the WordPress.org support community:
