Unwanted space between picture and border

  I want a border around a left-aligned jpg in a post and I want the border to be flush with the edges of the picture. Problem: The border is flush with the edges if I select None or Center for alignment, but if I choose Left or Right alignment, it puts white space between the border and the edges of the picture. How can I get left alignment and no space between border and picture? Theme is Contempt. Thanks.

  I had the same problem with template Dusk. In the Media upload field you see a ‘Link URL’ bar (between Description and Alignment Options). Click ‘None’, the bar will be emptied out, so no extra border will appear.

  Switch the editor to html; where the image code says
  style="[etc.]"
  add this (before the closing quotation mark):
  padding:0;
