Unwanted Spam ads on my Paid WordPress.com site

    I am recently seeing pop-up style ads in between the content on my website. They cannot be closed out of. These seem to only appear when I pull up my site on a cell phone (tested on 2 different phones). I do not see the ads on my computer.

    I have a paid plan and understood that paying would prevent ads from showing up on my site. I don’t know why these spam pop-up ads are just showing up now. Please help – I don’t want site visitors to think that my website is spam!

    Hi @celiaj94, you have domains on your site, but you don’t have any of our plans:
    https://wordpress.com/plans

    Domains don’t remove ads, but every paid plan does.

    Since you recently renewed a domain, would you like us to help you add a plan to that?
