Unwanted text at the bottom of my blog post
-
At the bottom of my blog posts it has a caption:
Published by (my name)
’21-year-old Multimedia Journalist ready to bring light to social injustice anywhere, anyhow, and anytime. View more posts’ I would like to remove or at least edit that text but I cannot find the setting for it ANYWHERE. Please help. -
Hello,
That text should be under the about me section of your user profile.
If you are using WordPress.com hosting click on your profile picture in the top right menu bar, and you should see that text in the about me section.Otherwise you can navigate to Users > Your user profile and you should see the about me section there. Hope this helps!

Hi there, it looks like you were able to solve this, but I want to mention for anyone else looking in on this thread that some themes allow you to hide your author bio from appearing at the bottom of your posts. You’ll find that setting in the Customizer>Content Options
More on this here: https://wordpress.com/support/customizer/#content-options

Yes I was able to resolve the issue by editing the text from my author bio, I just had no idea where to locate it lol. Thank you so much!!!!

Great news! Glad that @jpbartells advice helped.
I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as resolved, but feel free to post back here if you have any other questions about this, or start a new forum thread for any new issues.
