Unwanted Users
-
I do a blog and I want people to be able to sign up as subscribers on my blog page, which seems to be working OK. My problem is that I keep getting unwanted, bogus ‘users’ showing up on my user list in my Word Press Dashboard. How do I stop these unwanted users without messing up the real subscribers on my blog page?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I checked your site and I see it’s not hosted on WordPress.com. Your domain eclecticgrandma.com points to Bluehost. Based on this info, I assume you are WordPress.org user.
This forum is only dedicated to WordPress.com sites.
If you’d like to know more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, check the page linked below: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/In future, try seeking help here :
https://wordpress.org/support/I will still try to help you with this. You can remove the unwanted users if you wish. Go to WP Admin Dashboard > Users > All Users. Hover over the user you wish to delete and click the red “Delete” link.
If you have identified the users then you can search users by name, username, or email address and delete them.
Also, you can select the users and bulk delete them.Hope this helps!

Thanks once again! This is a great article! I’m OK with writing and posting my blogs, but not so hot with the behind the scenes stuff!
