unwanted widgets
-
I have an unwanted widget area on one page, but when in admin I cannot see it to delete it. How do I get rid of that widget area so my text can be seen on the whole page?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I am referring to http://www.theoutdoorgardeners.org thehorticultural page. The empty widget is on the left; my text on the right.

Thanks for the additional information. That site theoutdoorgardeners.org is not hosted on WordPressdotcom, but is a standalone WP install.
Standalone WP and WordPressdotcom are different entities; more information about the differences can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Help for self-hosted sites using the standalone WP software can be found over at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page and at https://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you can register one on that page.
If this is a theme related issue, you can also find help from your theme’s author.
Best wishes.
