Up load pictures

  I can’t up load a picture. In this moment I don’t have any picture in my posts so the problem can’t be the capacity. Can you help me? Thank you.

  Hello!
  For troubleshooting pictures WordPress suggests the following options:
  1. Ensure you have enough space (3gigs is the limit)
  2. Ensure your picture is a smaller-size. Use an image re-sizer to shrink it down for better image optimization. See: http://en.support.wordpress.com/media/image-optimization/
  3. Ensure you have a good connection

  If you have done all that consider the next set of options:
  1. Use the classic editor rather than the new one. You can get to it by going to: Dashboard–>Posts–>New Posts.
  2. Clear your browsers cache and cookies
  3. Try uploading with a different browser

  Done all that and my image won’t insert either.

  I’m using both Firefox and Chrome, both the classic and new editor. In Classic I click on insert image and get a blank screen. In New I get endless loading.

  I’ve tried both new and old (already uploaded) images.

  Note that I CAN set a featured image.

  Don’t use the new editor; use the classic editor.

  Hmm ok.
  WordPress only recognizes certain image formats:
  jpg/jpeg
  gif
  png

  Are the pictures in question a different file format than what WordPress uses?

  Also, while you can upload large pictures WordPress suggests the best picture sizes maybe under 1gig. Is the image size larger or smaller than 1gig?

  Are you using the WordPress App? As the Dashboard is not designed to for touch screen.
  Try also a different browser on the Ipad.
