  Hi

  I have a calendar within my site but its just in a page.

  I was wondering, can I have a monthly up&coming events widget in the sidebar??

  Hello there,

  That depends on the theme. If your theme have a sidebar, sure thing you can put there your up&coming events. So, in summary:

  – Check out if your theme have sidebar
  – Put there the Eventbrite Event Calendar/Listing Widget

  Well, both widgets works fine, so is up to you what to choose. Mostly it depends in how it looks.

  Hi, I have the oxygen theme, there is a calendar on my site, I want to add an event to it. It seems like the calendar is just linking to posts from a particular date. Is there a way to add future events or will it continue just to like to posts. my site is mgequus.wordpress.com thanks.

  Hello moxymetals,

  It seems you have the Calendar widget in your sidebar. That pluging is meant only for showing posts dates.

  If you have your events in a iCalendar feed, they can be shown using the Upcoming Events widget. Here is an explanation about how to use it: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/eventbrite-event-calendarlisting-widget/

  If the events is your main feature, you should consider using a specifical theme for that, like this: https://wordpress.com/theme/eventbrite-venue
