  Hi there,

  I am working on a new website (under construction — currently a big mess!). Right now, the Upcoming Events widget in the sidebar is listing every single detail, rather than just basics (title, date, time). The result is that my sidebar is totally filled with unneeded details. How can I configure the widget just to show basics plus a link to more information?

  This is the twentyfourteen theme widget in the primary sidebar. Sorry, I do not know how to find the widget code, but here is the url I plugged in to source the calendar feed:

  Is the site you’re working on https://lindsayhpassmore.wordpress.com/ ? I’m not seeing an Upcoming Events widget there. Can you give me a link to the page where you’re having this issue?
