Upcoming events displays deleted entries

  I have made changes to my Google calendar, adding and deleting items. These changes were made weeks ago. My upcoming events widget is still displaying old entries that were deleted from my Google calendar.
  I have cleared my browser cache and tried multiple browsers with the same result. I deleted the widget then added it back in, thinking that would clear old data. No luck – the deleted items are still there.

  Hi there!

  Can you let me know if the deleted items are still showing in your Upcoming Events widget? If so, please let me know details of which specific event were deleted.

  I can see that there are currently three events showing for April 12th, 2015, and there seems to be only one on this date in your Google Calendar. Is 3-Man Protection & Sunday Trap Shoot the only event you wish to display here? If you can confirm the extra details behind the issue here then I can report this back to our team for you.

  You are correct. the 3-man protection & sunday trap shoot event is the only one that should be showing on april 12. the other two events were deleted from the Google calendar long ago when we changed and updated our club schedule.

  all the other events currently showing are events that should be there

  We’ve recently had some similar reports with recurring events not being removed from the Upcoming Events widget when cancelled. I’ve let the team know about your specific issue and we’ll look into getting this resolved for you. :)

  I wanted to confirm with you that our team looked into this issue and you shouldn’t see any instances of duplicate events within the widget any more. Please do let us know if this happens again. Thanks!
