Upcoming Events – Google Calendar Date Switch
-
The dates displayed in my upcoming events widget are one day earlier than what they show up as on my google calendar. How can I fix this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there – could you please double-check the time-zone setting in your WordPress dashboard under Settings > General, and make sure it’s correct.
Also please check the time-zone settings:
– in your overall Google calendar

http://support.google.com/calendar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=37065– on your individual events
Let us know how it goes. Thanks!

That was one of my steps. I thought that would do it. Both seem to be set for central time zone and nothing changes.
Also, I misspoke about the bog this is for. It is actually rhsworkshop2013.wordpress.com
Anything else you’d recommend?
Thanks!

Thanks very much – I see what you mean. I will report this to our developers so they can have a look. Thanks for your patience.

Our developers have made a fix to the upcoming events widget. If you’d like to add it back to your site, would you let us know if it’s displaying the dates correctly now? Thanks very much.

It looks good now (almost)! The dates are correct. The only thing I notice is it says ‘March 29’ for one of the events, and we aren’t on a leap year: rhsworkshop2013.wordpress.com

Great, glad the dates are right now!
In terms of March 29, I believe that one comes up every year – leap year would be February 29. ;-)

Okay, I think I’ve got (user error!). Thanks for working on that, both on behalf of me and my students!
