Upcoming Events widget shows wrong times, deleted events

All righty. I checked http://sanjuanpilots.wordpress.com/calendar/ again and the Jan 24 event is gone, so that’s good. However, I see that there’s now a “Board Meeting” event on the calendar starting on Mar 5 but that event isn’t in the widget.
- EOM Lunch January 31, 2014 at 11:30 – 13:00 Ernie’s Cafe, Airport Circle Drive, Friday Harbor, WA, United States
- Board Meeting April 2, 2014 at 17:15 – 19:45
- Board Meeting May 7, 2014 at 00:15 – 03:45
This confirms my suspicion that it’s a bug with the way recurring events by weekday are displayed.
I’ve already reported the problem, and now we’ll need to wait for the developers to review that.
In the mean time, you should be able to get around the problem by adding the events one at a time instead of as recurring events. If you run into any trouble, I’ll do my best to help you by looking through the data in your .ics file and offer advice based on that.

Still broken.
Calendar shows meeting on February but it’s not in upcoming events.I have spent too much time on this plug-in, which has never worked properly. Don’t know if it’s your plug-in or the Google Calendar Feed.
I’ll just disable it and do it by hand.

Yes, it’s still broken, but only if the events are recurring and only if they’re added a certain way. :)
Sorry for the trouble!
A temporary workaround would be to either add each event individually in the calendar as a one time event or add them by hand as you suggested. That’s what you will need to do until the developers have a chance to review the bug report I added based on your feedback. I’m not sure of the timing, so using a workaround is the best temporary solution for now.
