upcomingevents recurring events not displaying

  Hello,

  I’ve started using the [upcomingevents] shortcode fed by a Google calendar on my site. It works well and satisfies my requirement except that recurring events are not displayed. It only displays the first event of the series.

  My shortcode is:
  [upcomingevents url="https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/oqjcplj52006hc7n76udeot58g%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics"]

  The iCalendar feed for the recurring event contains:
