Upcomming Events Widget – not formating HTTP links
-
Widget is displaying events from a Google Calendar.
It would be nice if it could read HTML code and render it. That way I could just write links as in my events discription. But I tried that and HTML is removed before content is rendered.I really do not like the formating that the widget does. It takes away line breaks and makes it impossible to add something useful for the reader in the description.
I have it in sidebar here: http://enkelhetenilivet.no/om/
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. I wonder if the problem is not actually on Google’s end. As I understand it the widget simply imports the calendar as it appears on Google. But I’ll tag this for staff to follow up in case something can be done on this side. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and be patient while waiting.

There isn’t a way to make the upcoming events widget work the way you are describing (at least not on a WordPress.com hosted site). You might try embedding the Google Calendar directly using the instructions below
If you have the calendar display in the agenda view you get a list of upcoming events.
