Updaing or saving gives 404 error

    Hi, When ever i try to update or save or publish a post, i get 404 error. It started happening few days back, before it was working fine. It happens on whole site. I mean even if i try to change/update/save some plugin setting, i get 404 page. I tried changing permanant link changing trick but did’t work.
    Kindly help
