Update all Page/Post image URLs after changing location
-
I have just moved my WP site from a subdirectory to the domain root.
I dont have much hair left after doing that for the first time, so I’m trying to find an easy way to update all my post/page image urls.
They are currently pointing to the old directory which, obvisouly, means they aren’t showing.
Is this a database issue? Can I use some kind of plugin to do this? I tried Velvet Blue’s Update URLs plugin, but that didn’t work.
Alternatively, it’s a case of going through each post/page and updating individual images.
I am running version 2.8.5.
Any help and suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Your wordpress.ORG install needs to be updated to 3.0 as there are security issues with the very old version your are running. Post here for support http://wordpress.ORG/support/
