I need to update my credit card for my account but I do not have autorenewal. I followed the instructions: go to Store > My Upgrades in your dashboard, find the upgrade in question, and click on Update Credit Card. It is not there for me to click. My account is due to expire in 2 weeks. Help!

    Hi Michael,

If you have a credit card saved, under Users > Personal Settings > Account Details, you will be able to find “Stored Credit Card Details” and change or remove it there.

After looking into your account, I found that there were no upgrades in this account. If you have another account with an upgrade, you should be able to renew it from Store > My Upgrades.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

That’s the point! I do not have another account with an upgrade. Therefore, I cannot update the credit card. I received an wordpress email saying I need to update my credit card. I am so frustrated that wordpress.com makes it difficult for me to do it. I want to make sure the custom set-up on my blog doesn’t change and the renewal deadline is February 5th. Sorry, your suggestion has not been helpful. I need help!

Please post the URL for the site in question.

How many username accounts do you have?
Which one registered the blog to which you refer?
What is the URL of the blog to which you refer?

You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.

Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden

If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
    follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibility

If you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
and if required click the “Need More Help” link and complete the form for account recovery.

There is only one username account and this is the one that registered the blog as far as I know. I am a new person taking care of this account and the prior person is no longer here.

    Hi Michael,

After looking into the site, I found that you (mrwfeingold) are not the owner of the upgrade, so you cannot renew it. There are two accounts attached to the blog: blog.mobi-cart.com, but your account is not the one that purchased the upgrades. Please note, that you must sign into the Dashboard of the account that owns the upgrade and renew from there. If I get confirmation from the owner, I can transfer the upgrades to you, but for security reasons I cannot provide you any information on the owner’s account.

If you are able to log into the owner’s account, or able to get confirmation from the email address associated to that account, please let me know and I can help you renew the upgrades.

Mobi-cart was sold to our company. A list of vendors with login information and passwords were given to me, including WordPress.com. How do we make a transfer of ownership? What kind of paperwork do you need to show proof? I would please like to settle this problem before the accounts expire.
