Update Credit Card link missing for Domain Mappings

  I wish to change the credit card info for the domain mappings. According to http://en.support.wordpress.com/change-credit-card-details/ there should be an “Update Credit Card” link below the domains in store -> domains. But there is not. How can I change the billing information now?

  Howdy,

  I don’t see that a domain mapping upgrade has been purchased previously for any blog on this account.

  The “Update Credit Card” link will appear on the Store->My Upgrades pages for all upgrades (domains or otherwise) when it is set to automatically renew.

  If the upgrade is set to renew manually, you can renew it or enable auto renew also on the Store->My Upgrades page.

  (First, you don’t see a domain mapping upgrade for mcwstudios.wordpress.com, because that is not where I run up against this problem. It’s a different blog, The line “The blog I need help with…” was added automatically.)

  I looked in Store->My Upgrades and one of the domains is actually set to renew automatically, but still no “Update Credit Card” link.

  Could the link be hidden from me, because another person (Simon, whom I am taken this blog over from) added me as administrator for this blog, and I did not create it myself?

  If so, what is the way to go forward from here?

  Hi,

  Upgrades are “owned” by the account that purchased them, so that account has to make changes to the upgrade. Staff can transfer the upgrade to a different account after being requested by the original purchaser.

  If you are fully taking over the blog from the other individual, they can transfer full ownership of the blog over to you by following the instructions at http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-wordpress-com-user-or-account
