Update DNS – A Record – PLEASE HELP

    I’m transferring my website to GoDaddy and they say I have to update my DNS records so that my doman “points to” their servers. Apparently I have to add an “A” Record onto my WordPress DNS registration or something? They gave me a sequence of some numbers, which I assume is the new record. WordPress instructions involve adding code and I’m SO lost, not to mention very frustrated. How do I add this A record to my DNS???
