Update email not sent to followers

    Hi. I have been told my followers are not receiving email when I post a new article.
    Could you please ensure it is working & resend the email to all followers?

    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there,

    Please let us know the usernames or email addresses of a few of your followers that are not receiving the updates. Then, we can try and figure out what’s causing the issue.

    Please note that the email addresses will only be visible to staff members.

    Hi there,

    The first email you gave here is your own, and it doesn’t look like you’re subscribed to your own site, so you won’t get email notifications at the moment. If you want to receive emails of new posts, you’ll need to follow your own site and enable email notifications first.

    The second address you gave is for a @gamail.com address. I’m guessing that should be gmail.com instead. If that person is trying to subscribe using an invalid email address, that will explain why they can’t follow your site.

    Ask that person to make sure they’re typing their email address correctly, or alternatively to make sure they’re logged into their WordPress.com account before trying to subscribe to your site.

    If they’re still unable to subscribe, it will be best if they posted here via their own WordPress.com account so we can help them with this directly.
