    Typically sites hosted by WordPress.com don’t need to manage any of their own updates. Our team handles all the back end details like updates, security, seo, spam, and top notch hosting. If our managed environment seems like a better fit for your experience level, and project, you can connect your domain on our personal plan and let us take care of the rest.

    Your site is registered through, and hosted by GoDaddy. You’ll want to talk to them about this problem. If they send you to WordPress support they are referring to the volunteer community that helps folks who run their own WordPress installations. Those forums are different from here. You’ll need to use https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
