Update for WordPress

  my app on my Mac OS Sierra for WordPress is 2.2.0 I keep getting messages for upgrades to 4.7.1. Does this apply to worpress.com? If so, is there a clear process for Mac?

  No, Staff do all wordpress version upgrades at wordpress.COM. We bloggers do nothing at all. WordPress.COM is on continual roll-out so our updates are running for at least a month before they are made available to wordpress.ORG users.
