  I have a code that needs to go before the body on my sheet once i paste that code on there how do I save it like that ? I thought Iwould just hit save and that would be it but nothing changed
  I am working with google antalytics trying to keep track of people on my blog
  amny help would be great

  We can’t help you; it appears your blog isn’t hosted at WordPress.com (we can’t run google analytics), so I think you need to be over at WordPress.org forums. We’re running different software here.

  I am just not understanding the directions i doin’t think

  If what you’re trying to do is add Google Analytics, it will not work. WordPress itself is running GA on our blogs, and we don’t have the option to tinker with the code and install what needs to be installed to get it to work for us as individual bloggers.

  At wordpress.com we do not have referrer stats. They can only be gained through the use of javascript and we cannot use it here for security reasons as we are all on a multi-user blogging platform http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/07/javascript-can-i-use-that-on-my-blog/

  Also note that google analytics have nothing whatsoever to do with css customization. If you wish to run google analytics you have the option of self-hosting or hiring a web host and downloading a free blog template from http://wordpress.org which runs on entirely different software than we do at wordpress.com
