  Please help me to update the nameservers for a domain name purchased through wordpress.com – athomewithrebecka.com to ns1601.websitewelcome.com and ns1602.websitewelcome.com

  We don’t do that – you do. If you’ve registered your domain through WordPress.com and now want it to point to a blog or website hosted elsewhere then you can do this by updating the nameservers.

  Non-WordPress.com Nameservers
  Although athomewithrebecka.com has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. If your domain is mapped to a self-hosted site, then your configuration may be fine as currently set up.

  After you make the domain mapping purchase here > Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades and do the set up it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.

  I cannot access my dashboard area on wordpress.com – If I try, I am only redirected to my wordpress.org site (located at athomewithrebecka.com). I don’t know how to update the nameservers if I can’t find them. Would love help!

  You must log in under the exact same WordPress.com username account that purchased the domain mapping upgrade from WordPress.com.

  You’ll need to be logged in as the owner of the domain, athomewrebecka, via the blog’s Dashboard http://athomewithrebeckadotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  athomewrebecka is the owner of the domain, not athomewithrebecka.
