update new template

  Hi, i need to know if is possible to update a new template in my blog. A template by wordpress but that is not in the selection of dash. Is possible? and how?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.com does not offer the option to add themes, only to modify CSS for existing ones using the custom design upgrade.

  If you want more control over the code including the ability to upload your own themes, you should consider switching to using WordPress on a separate web hosting account. We have posted hosting recommendations at http://get.wp.com/hosting/ if you are interested.

  Thanks. So, also that the template is from wordpress is not possible to change. Ah..is very bad.
  But, if I change hosting i will lose my position in google? How can move my old post in new hosting?

  WordPress.com has a set number of themes. I’m not sure where exactly you got the template from, but you probably got it from the WordPress.org website, and that’s separate from WordPress.com. Go to http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ to learn more about the differences.

  You can change to quite a few templates on WordPress.com if you decide to stay! See http://theme.wordpress.com/

  If you change hosts, you can take your content with you. You would use the Tools → Export and Tools → Import pages to do that.

  OK, now i understand the differents. I always see wordpress.org.
  So, if i change the hosts, i dont’ need a web master to trasfer my post? And, if i change host i can choose my template free and not by wp?

  You can transfer posts yourself. Just use the Tools → Export page and make sure to leave the first site up and running when you run Tools → Import on your new site after you install WordPress. Keep in mind support is separate. Support for WordPress.org is done through volunteer forums at http://wordpress.org/support/

  WordPress itself doesn’t make very many themes (we make some). You’re probably thinking of the free templates available on the WordPress.org website that are made by various community members: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/
