Update notification email to my followers

  How can I change the content of the email sent to my followers to notify them of a blog update please? At present they only see the bare bones through email and miss the snazzy format they can savour when they visit the website itself. I would like to simply refer them to a link. Thanks,

  Hi there,

  The content of the email notification sent to your followers is generated automatically. You can decide whether to send the full post or just an excerpt to your followers under Settings > Reading in your dashboard. Look for the “For each article in a feed, show” setting, and select Full Text or Summary there. Sending just a summary should entice your followers to click through to read the whole post on your site. :)

  Your followers can also decide whether to get a plain text email or an HTML email (with color and layout) by going to their Subscriptions Delivery settings here: https://en.wordpress.com/settings/subs-delivery/
