Update of blog post not updating on Facebook preview

  Hello, I updated the first few lines of my latest blog post with some spelling corrections and clicked on update. I checked and the blog had indeed been updated. Afterwards, I used the link to post on Facebook. But the preview displays the non-updated version. Is there any way of correcting this? Thanks.

  Hi there,

  The old preview is cached with Facebook. You need to refresh Facebook’s cache to get updated preview of the post. This can be done by using Facebook Debug tool.

  – Go to Facebook Debug Tool https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
  – Paste the URL of your blog post that was shared on Facebook
  – Click Debug
  – Click Scrape Again
  – You’ll see updated preview
  Now, you can publish the post on Facebook. You’ll notice the updates are reflected.
