Update on Social Media links

  Good day! I’ve been inactive in my wordpress account and just got back recently. I noticed that I already added my social media links on my account but when I tried clicking on them, it will go to an error page. Like for example my twitter, I updated it to @lealarubis but my twitter handle in here is still the old one so I want to update/edit it but I don’t know how. Please help! thanks

  Is this the site you are talking about: https://leaivylarubis.wordpress.com/ ?

  If yes, you should go to this link, after logging into your WordPress.com account and update the social media widget with the right link for the twitter icon: https://leaivylarubis.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php

  I updated it to @lealarubis but my twitter handle in here is still the old one

  In addition to the information that @mihaiapetrei gave you for changing it in the Social Media icons in the sidebar, you will want also to update your Sharing buttons with the new twitter handle. That can be updated at the bottom of Dashboard>Sharing https://wordpress.com/sharing/buttons/leaivylarubis.wordpress.com where it says “Twitter Username” and click the “Save Changes” button.
