Update Payment information

  Hey,
  Wordpress contacted me to inform me that may payment information have expired. I am wondering about that as the payment for my websites features are effected via paypal and I already updated the information there. Now, I am looking for an opportunity to update payment information within my wordpress profile but I cannot find out where. Can you help my out here?

  Hey, thank you for your quick answer.
  Unfortunately, I am still stuck with the problem. On the purchase page there are no options concerning payment. The buttons I see on your example like “edit your payment method” or “cancel”are simply not there. I don’t know why. Is it because of Paypal as Payment Option?
  Furthermore, it won’t proceed to a prolongation when I click on it in the alert section either.
  Is there a way to upload a screenshot here to illustrate my problem?

  Hi there,

  The buttons I see on your example like “edit your payment method” or “cancel”are simply not there. I don’t know why.

  It’s usually either because you did not have auto renew set up (which means we wouldn’t save your credit card information after your initial payment), or it’s because the information we have on file is outdated. So, you’ll need to set up payment again.

  Once you get to the manage purchases page, there should be a red strip with renew now button.

  You will have to either put in your credit card information again or click the use Paypal button.

  Hi,
  I have the red strip asking me to renew my purchase for the upcoming year. But unfortunately when I click on the renew now button I am not getting transfered.
  I usually have auto renew on my orders. As the auto message from wordpress says my payment information have expired. I updated my credit card in Paypal. As my purchases are being paid via the service should’t it be enough that I updated everything in there? So will it eventually draw the information from there on the date of renewal?

  Although All WordPress.com transactions are processed through PayPal, your billing information is not directly connected from Paypal. You will still need to update your payment on our end in order to reset up auto renew.
