  In the theme’s Showcase page, please add to

  You don’t have to do anything to get these working; just create a gallery and this theme does the hard work for you.

  some mention of needing to use the Gallery Post Format as well, which will hopefully make it clear the special Gallery display cannot be used on Pages.
