Update resolution with WordPress/Elementor site adjustments

    Hi!
I am currently editing a site that is hosted by WordPress and being edited through Elementor. So far, things have been fine, but now I have several updates I have been trying to add to the current site since last week and none of the updates are live. I have tried many ways to make sure this is occurring, but I have been unsuccessful. Can you please help?

  • Hi there,

I do not see any sites under your @terramrowland WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.

Is it possible you created your site under a different login?  Is it the case that you are using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

    Good morning!

Thanks for responding. You are correct, I am using GoDaddy as a host and editing the site using the Elementor plugin. I see now that the site has updated the changes I’ve made- perhaps I was thinking it’s instantaneous and the page needs time?

Feel free to call/ email me back, I’m open for any education you’d like to provide.

  • Hello there,

It looks like the sit is self-hosted WordPress site, which is a bit different to a site hosted on WordPress.com. You can read about these differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

You would need to reach out to your theme/plugin developers or the hosting provider for further assistance.

Elementor support can be found here: https://elementor.com/support/

    I hope this helps.
