Update Root DNS A Record

    We purchased our domain name through WordPress.com I have moved theblog from a WordPress.com hosted environment to an Amazon EC2 server, and need to update the root DNS A record to point to our new webserver. Whenever I try to update this record via the Domains interface in WordPress, it says that WordPress.com reserves the right to update the root record.

    We have been trying to reach support for over a week about this issue, and have yet to receive a response. We would really appreciate it if somebody could help us out.
