  Just to be sure: WordPress.com blogs don’t have Update Services, right? I’ve checked the FAQ but seem unable to find anything about it.

  What part do you not understand? Maybe I can explain a bit more.

  We ping pingomatic and they send out notices to a number of services. if you look at pingomatic.com and click the common services option, you’ll see who gets pinged.

  Oh, I understood you perfectly well. Sorry if I wasn’t clear enough.

  My problem, which I’ll have to solve by pinging manually, of course, is that pingomatic.com, for obvious reasons, doesn’t ping the Swedish-language services important to Swedish-language bloggers, who don’t use e.g. Technocrati to any greater extent.

  You may want to submit a feedback pointing this out to staff. They have connections with pingomatic. (ie They host the servers and share tech.)
