Update to Latest Version

  I’m fairly new to WordPress, and trying to navigate how to upgrade to a newer WP version that will let me download plugins so I can add customizable options like a calendar. I can’t seem to find out how to upgrade or if there’s a way to customize further without doing it.

  You can’t install extra plugins on WordPress.com sites (however, this is possible on WordPress.org sites, but then you would have to host the site yourself).

  Since you’re new to WordPress, I’m unsure if you know the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, so I’ve included a video link explaining this.
