Update to wordpress 5.2.1 not working

  every time I try to update to 5.2.1 version the page shows the below text and nothing happens afterwards,

  Update WordPress
  Downloading update from https://downloads.wordpress.org/release/en_GB/wordpress-5.2.1.zip…

  I have waited for hours for progress, and if I try to do it again the page says

  another update in progress

  and again nothing happens next.
  any solution please!
