updated 2 plugins and lost 90% of site traffic
-
On Oct.17, I updated the wp content protection and WordPress Social Sharing Optimization (WPSSO) plugins and have lost 90% of site traffic since. I was also using sitelock, and was told that it was blocking Google from my site. Site went offline for 2 days with a failure to resolve error. Have removed both plugins and Sitelock form my site, since then, but my site traffic has not returned. Can anybody show me if there is something in my site that is blocking Googlebots?

That is not a WordPress.COM hosted blog and we cannot help you.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. Learn about the differences here. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the Theme support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.
This site is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using: http://wordpress.org/support/
The forum at WordPress.ORG is not connected to WordPress.COM so you will need to open an account at .ORG if you do not already have one. You may use the same email at WordPress.ORG as you do at WordPress.COM.

If you are asking for help with a WordPress.COM site then we need a link to that site to give you accurate help.
