Updated blog name not configured
-
Hi,
so I started a new blog:
spartanpressltddotcom.com.I changed the blog name to spartanpress.wordpress.com and then bought the domain name Spartanpressltd.com and mapped it to it. I kept the original blog but the new domain was definitely mapped to the new (and correct) spartanpressltd.com blog. And the old blog, which I didn’t do any work on, was made inactive. I did all this before doing anything on the site, as I realised I did not want the blog name to have dotcom in it.
If I check ‘my sites’ on my wp admin, the old bog spartanpressltddotcom.com doesn’t even show up. The wp admin I have been working on is spartanpress.com/spartanpresswordpress.com… I have also checked this and have often clicked it via the ‘my sites’ option! So I went to view how the site was looking from an external perspective… and spartanpress.wordpress.com is mapped to spartanpressltd.com (which is correct) but all the work I have done is showing up on spartanpressltddotcom.com blog!!!! I can’t even access it from the ‘my sites’ so really not sure how this has happened, and I definitely clicked it as an inactive blog. I went back to check the wp admin and low and behold, it now says spartanpressdotcom.com! I also purchased custom CSS, which should be on spartanpress.wordpress.com and not the old site too.
Essentially, I want all the content on the spartanpressltddotcom.com on the other (spartanpress.com) site. As something has occurred! I could just redo it but that is super painful and don’t really want to keep the wrong blog open. Help!

Sorry, and just for clarity… I actually deleted the spartantpressdotcom.com site. I can’t be certain of exactly when but it was definitely BEFORE I bought the custom CSS. As I was quite a way through the build at this point.
So no idea really, how I can be working on the wrong site, it NOT appear on ‘my sites’ but interact with them all via the wp administrator.
